TruCal™ recognized as Innovative Ingredient in South America

TruCal™ Real Calcium from Milk, was honored as one of the seven finalists in the Most Innovative Ingredient category at the Food Ingredients South America awards ceremony held earlier this month in San Paulo.

There were 50 entries in total and each ingredient was judged on its innovative characteristics in the market application, formulation, and manufacturing process.

Members of the judging board included directors from Yakult, Kraft, Basf and Unicamp.

TruCal™ was received with high acclaim by the judges and South America has evolved as a high growth market for Glanbia’s dairy calcium.

It was the fifth year of the Fi South America Award, which is one of the most prestigious and highly recognized awards in the Latin American Food Industry.
